ABOUT

Poulomi Sen looked beyond the desk. She started in production rooms, on shoot sets, building a fashion brand's collection, identity, and streetwear line from scratch learning how a brand actually lives in the world before she ever formalized what that meant.

That instinct led her to Pratt, where she researched biomaterials and helped high schoolers imagine the future of fashion through laser printing and 3D printing on fabric. Her MS in Packaging, Identities, and Systems Design followed naturally. A discipline built around the same question she'd always been asking: how do materials, form, and story come together to make something that means something?

She's now based in New York, bringing a bold editorial eye to brand identity, packaging, and visual systems for beauty and fashion brands that take their making seriously.

REU

Diffuser Earing

A premium accessory brand redefining what jewelry can do. Born from a belief that adornment should engage all the senses, we fuse cutting-edge material science with high-fashion design to create something the world hasn't seen before.

Not just an earring. An experience.

Where fragrance meets form, a behind-the-ear earring engineered to move with your body, release scent with your rhythm, and last as long as you do.

EARING RENDER

EARING RENDER
Lightweight and piercing free, it clips softly behind the ear weightless against your skin, invisible to your day, unmistakable to everyone around you. The gel fragrance core warms with your body and releases scent gradually, so you never over apply, never re-spritz, never think about it twice. Just wear it. The rest takes care of itself.

Small enough to forget. Impossible to ignore.

Modular Seating Storage System
Design to Adapt

We make modular oak furniture for people who don't stand still. Our seating and storage system lets you detach, rearrange, and reconfigure every component making your space shift as easily as your needs do. No fixed layouts. No wasted space. Just solid craftsmanship built to keep up.

Furniture That Moves With Your Life.

Built from solid oak, this modular seating and storage system is designed around one idea: that your space should work for you, not the other way around. Every component detaches and reconfigures by hand, no tools, no fuss.

Configure it your way.

Detach any compartment, reposition any shelf, rearrange any section. The system supports open display storage, closed compartment storage, and hybrid layouts that combine both. Adjust the depth of each unit, change the orientation, or strip it back entirely for a minimal surface. Every variation is reversible — nothing is fixed, nothing is permanent.

Various Configurations the user can refer to.
This is also a part of the packaging information for the users reference.

PUBLICATION

Book Design

Design Ethics in Practice is a student publication examining ethical design across three spheres — social, cultural, and environmental.

The cover design is led entirely by typographic decisions: a consistent serif-italic and sans-serif pairing creates visual unity across a publication where some sections are image driven and others are text heavy, holding the work together without imposing a single visual style.

Color is used sparingly and with purpose, a budget constraint turned into a design principle. Each sphere is assigned a distinct color, functioning as a navigational device rather than decoration. Where color appears, it signals a shift in territory. Where it doesn't, the typography carries the full weight of the page.

TYPE DESIGN

Found, Deconstrcuted, Redrawn

This project began on the street. Photographs of lettering found across the city, signage, storefronts, hand-painted type, formed the initial reference library. Rather than tracing or digitizing directly, the forms were reconstructed physically using paper clips, bending and arranging the wire to reinterpret the shapes by hand. That process introduced something the references alone couldn't: a new set of constraints, accidents, and angles that pushed the letterforms somewhere original.

Both explorations were then digitized, where the physical logic of the clips was refined into two distinct typefaces.

The first more sharp, bold, and geometric that carries an edge suited to high contrast applications like product and packaging.

The second, drawn from the looser quality of the clip forms, is softer in contrast and more characterful, landing closer to editorial and hospitality contexts. Despite their differences, both share the same origin and the same method, one process, two distinct voices.

SCENTRIC

Fragrance App
Cross Platform Design

In a digital landscape where fragrance discovery has become cold, algorithmic, and detached, this platform reclaims the emotional and tactile soul of scent. By bridging the gap between digital convenience and high-end sensory luxury, we’ve created the first comprehensive fragrance ecosystem that empowers users to discover, learn, and create.

We are moving beyond the static database to offer a conversational, AI-driven journey that feels as personal as a niche boutique experience. By centering on ingredient transparency and real-world sensory touchpoints, this platform transforms a simple digital transaction into a deeply resonant, human-centric exploration.

CAMPAIGN DESIGN

Picasso at MoMa

A seasonal exhibition campaign built around a custom campaign identity, drawing directly from Picasso's visual language — the fragmentation, geometry, and spatial tension present in his work. The logo, print materials, and website extension were developed as a unified system, using his existing pieces as visual raw material rather than decoration. Designed with the exhibition's run as a hard boundary — bold and immediate by necessity.

GEOSCENT

Reed Diffuser Bottle Design

A concept project repositioning the reed diffuser from background accessory to intentional sensory object, designing something beyond the smell.

Taking inspiration from geodes and biophilic design principles, each vessel references the geological tension of a raw mineral exterior opening into a luminous crystal cavity. The form doesn't just hold fragrance, it creates a sense of place.

The project targets the premium market, where coherence of concept carries as much weight as material quality. Scent, object, and environment are treated as a single, composed experience.

PACKAGING REDESIGN
Homme Men’s Line Gift Set

A packaging redesign rooted in one central conviction, the box should outlive the gift. Rather than a vessel discarded after unwrapping, this structure transforms into an accessory on the shelf, a sculptural pedestal that houses the three products long after the occasion has passed.
